The city of Sydney is much more beautiful than I originally thought. It reminds me a lot of New York, but better! It does have its Americanisms, but with the added ooomf! Everything is so big, there is everything you could possibly do and eat there….I am truly amazed.
So, today I met up with my friend Millie, who I used to live with at University (she’s been travelling and has stopped at Sydney to earn some money to trek Malaysia with her boyfriend….lucky devils)!
-First of all, we had a huge catch up at the park, a little like Central Park.
-Then we went for free coffee tasting, sampling the strongest and finest coffees from around the world.
-Next, we did a bit of window shopping……(a must)
-We trotted off to Circular Quay:This is the hub of Sydney Harbour, situated at a small inlet called Sydney Cove. There are hundreds of restaurants and attractions here, as well as stunning cruise-liners, performers and entertainers…
-We then visited Sydney Opera House…..Awesome!
-We then stopped for Lunch at a Food Hall: I had a Skinny Melon Mini Smoothie, which was gorgeous!!
-Then, Darling Harbour: This is where Sydney Aquarium, Wildlife World, The biggest IMAX in the world, museums, and casinos are based….Again, lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment…..
-We then stopped off at the Lindt Cafe (my favourite thing in the world), where we had complimentary Woopie Pies! :) :)
